Assault investigation
On March 10th 2024, STPS was called to a downtown bar area for a disturbance out front involving a group of individuals. Upon arrival, the group had dispersed however, it was determined that a fight had occurred where a male suffered minor injuries. EMS attended however, the party declined services. Police are reviewing CCTV footage as they continue to investigate the matter. ST24004065
Warrant arrest
A 31 yr old Woodstock male, previously wanted for a number of charges including assault and forcible confinement, turned himself in to Police on March 14th 2024. The male was arrested, processed and transported over to courts where he was remanded into custody. ST24004071/4055
Shoplift
On March 14th 2024, loss prevention at a business in the 1055 block of Talbot Street called STPS to report a shoplift which had occurred at the beginning of the month. In that incident, a female was observed concealing a number of items before leaving the store without making any attempt to pay. The female has since been identified as a London resident and a charge package has been submitted. A warrant is being sought at this time and the female remains outstanding. ST24004083
