St. Thomas Police Service media release for Monday October 2nd, 2023

On the 1st day of October 2023 St. Thomas Police Service was contacted regarding a male who was exposing himself at the corner of Talbot Street at Ross Street.  Police located a 49 year old St. Thomas male.  The male was taken into custody for an indecent act and later released on a future court date.  ST23017488.

On the 1st day of October 2023 police attended a Talbot Street address for a vehicle entry.  Investigation revealed that an air compressor was removed from a vehicle in the past week.  Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS and reference incident # ST23017496.

On the 1st day of October 2023 police attended a Gaylord road address for a break and enter.  It was discovered over the weekend that two motorcycles had been removed from a storage unit.  This matter is still under investigation.  ST23017498.

St. Thomas Police arrested a 44 year old St. Thomas woman on an outstanding arrest warrant while officer was arresting the female she threw her beverage on the officer in an attempt to avoid her arrest.  The female was charged with assaulting a peace officer.  The female was transported to police headquarters and held for court.  ST23017512.

Later that day St. Thomas Police arrested a 51 year old city man who was wanted by the London Police Service.  The male was turned over to London Police and transported back to their headquarters.  ST23017516.

On the 1st day of October 2023 St. Thomas police received a complaint regarding a male who is breaching his conditions of release.  The male is supposed to be with his surety, but has not been seen in 3 days.  A warrant is being sought for the arrest of this 47 year old male. ST23017520
