St. Thomas, ON – Wednesday October 9th 2024
Members of the St. Thomas Police Service have charged a 43 year old St. Thomas resident with Sexual Assault and Failure to Comply with Probation following an investigation that began on Saturday October 5th 2024.
It was reported that at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, the victim was dining at a local restaurant when approached by the unknown male who proceeded to touch the victim in a sexual manner. The suspect exited the business and left the area on a power scooter. The victim and the accused were not known to each other.
Through investigation, police identified the accused who was located and arrested on Tuesday October 8th 2024.
The 43 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance.
