Mischiefs, Bail Violations, and Warrant Arrests

Mischief

St. Thomas Police were called to a residential area, just north of downtown for a Mischief. The complainant reports seeing an individual removing copper from a service hole. Damage estimated at $1200. The incident is still under investigation. ST26013512

A 30-year-old St. Thomas resident has caused damage to property in the downtown area. The accused became upset when service was refused. The refusal of service was due to the individual being trespassed from the property. As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged, arrested, transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and released with a future court date. ST26013525

Theft

A 37-year-old resident of St. Thomas reports a bag containing tools valued at $1000, stolen while asleep. There was no video in the reported area to assist in the investigation. ST26013513

Vehicle Entry

St. Thomas Police attended a residence on the North side of the city for a vehicle entry. The complainant reported the vehicle rummaged through, and a small pocket knife missing. The complainant had video of the incident, but did not wish a criminal investigation. ST26013552

Bail Violations

On July 3, 2026 a 42-year-old St. Thomas resident, was released by the Ontario Court of Justice, on conditions to sign in with the St. Thomas Police Service every Wednesday, commencing on July 8th. The individual did not attend, and was released with no address to assist in locating. As a result, a warrant is being sought. ST26013524

Warrant Arrests

A 45-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a Release Order. The accused was released on May 10, 2026 by the Ontario Court of Justice, with conditions to report to the St. Thomas Bail Supervision Program on May 13th, 2026, and failed to do so. The accused was additionally released with no address to assist in locating. As a result, a warrant was granted, and executed. The individual was held for a court appearance. ST26013518

A 55-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested on an outstanding Probation laid warrant for failing to report. The accused was released with a future court date. ST26013561

A 44-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Theft. The incident took place in June of 2025. The individual was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and released with a future court date. ST26013566, ST25010670

A 38-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested on an outstanding Probation Warrant. The individual was released with a future court date. ST26013587
