Vehicle Entry

A wallet containing personal identification and bank cards has been reported stolen after a vehicle entry was reported to police. On Tuesday September 19th 2023, the victim reports that sometime in the overnight hours of September 18th, their vehicle, parked in the laneway of their home on the south side of the city was entered and their wallet stolen. The bank cards were then used at a nearby variety store. Police attended the store and are reviewing video surveillance. This remains under investigation. ST23016682

Arrests

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday September 19th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to an apartment building due to the well being of a tenant. Upon arrival, police located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. The 32 year old was processed and provided a new court date after officers ensured they were well. ST23016700

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday September 19th 2023, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for assault and bail violations, stemming from an incident in March of 2023. The individual was processed and held for court. ST23016710

Stolen Bike

A forest green, Columbia mountain bike has been reported stolen. On Tuesday September 19th 2023, it was reported to police that a bike which was locked and secured to a bike rack out front of a retail store, had been stolen while the owner was at work. The incident took place on Monday September 18th between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The approximate value of the bike is $600. Police continue to investigate. ST23016715
