Wanted party, arrested

A 30 year old St. Thomas resident wanted for Theft Under $5,000, Assault Police and Break and Enter has been arrested. Around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 2 2023,  officers on community patrol located the individual and placed them under arrest. The 30 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released by the courts. ST23007201

Stolen truck and trailer, truck recovered 

A truck reported stolen on Monday May 2nd 2023 has been recovered in London. St. Thomas Police were called by the owner of the vehicle who wish to report their truck and trailer had been stolen from an address on First Ave, sometime overnight. The victim was contact by London Police who had located the truck and wished to return it. The MISK black dump trailer is still missing. ST23007204

More than three times the legal limit. Impaired driver, charged.  

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with impaired operation after St. Thomas Police were called to a downtown address by a concerned employee. Upon arrival, police located the person in question and as a result, formed grounds for the arrest. The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further testing. It was determined that the driver was more than three time over the legal limit and subsequently charge with Adult Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus). The 36 year old was released on an undertaking. ST23007220

Warrant arrests

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident attended police headquarters last night (May 2, 2023) to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant from an incident that occurred in October of 2022. The 32 year old was placed under arrest for one count Assault and one count Mischief under $5,000. They were released with a future court date. ST23007247

A 41 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by St. Thomas Police on an outstanding probation warrant, has been arrested. Officers on community patrol were interacting with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of the warrant. The 41 year old was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23007256
