Arrest Made in Sexual Assault Investigation
A 58 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested following an investigation that began last week. On Monday, officers executed a search warrant at a Talbot Street address and took custody of the accused. Charged with Sexual Assault and Committing an Indecent Act, he was processed at police headquarters and held for court. ST26018925
Arson and Failure to Comply
A 48 year old St. Thomas man has been charged after police responded to reports of someone throwing rocks at businesses in a Talbot Street parking lot Monday night. Officers attended and located the accused nearby who had also set fire to a garbage bin in the area. Charged with one count of Arson and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking, he was transported to police headquarters and held to attend court. ST26018996
Break and Enter
Police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at a vacant address currently being renovated. Sometime overnight on Sunday, an unknown person(s) entered the home and stole approximately $4,000 worth of tools. This remains under investigation. ST26018972
