Robbery with weapon
A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 12th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a downtown address to investigate the report of an assault that occurred. Through investigation and review of available video surveillance, STPS confirmed the incident which resulted in the victim being assaulted with a weapon and robbed of cash. As a result, a 42 year old St. Thomas resident was charged with one count Robbery with a Weapon. The accused was located, arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for court. ST23010178
Arrested
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 12th, 2023 St. Thomas police responded to a call of an wanted person. Upon arrival, they located an individual known to them to be wanted on several outstanding warrants for Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply. The 32 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for court and subsequently released by the courts on an appearance notice. ST23010187
A 37 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 12th, 2023 officers on community patrol were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of a warrant for Theft under $5,000. The 37 year old was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23010225
Arson
St. Thomas Police are investigating an arson. At approximately 12:20 p.m. on Monday June 12th, 2023 St. Thomas police attended at Talbot Street address where St. Thomas Fire was extinguishing a small dumpster fire. Through investigation, the fire is believed to be arson and STPS are currently reviewing video surveillance of the area to identify the suspect. ST23010198
Intimate Partner Mischief
A 54 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 12th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the well being of a person after multiple attempts to contact them had failed. Police attended and found the victims phone to have been smashed by their partner. As a result, a 54 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested and charged with one count Domestic Mischief. The 54 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking. ST23010214
