Obstruct Police – Failure to Comply

Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested following an investigation in the city on Wednesday. While dealing with the individuals on an unrelated matter, the pair intentionally obstructed officers and failed to cooperate with an investigation. As a result, a 30 year old St. Thomas woman was charged with Obstruction of a Peace Officer. She was transported to police headquarters to be processed and was released on an appearance notice to attend court. A 40 year old St. Thomas man was charged with the same offence. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST26016945

Theft

A 20 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Wednesday, officers were called to investigate the report of a stolen bicycle from a retail store on Talbot Street. While on route, officers observed the accused riding a bike matching the description from the report provided. The 20 year old was stopped and arrested. Charged with Theft under $5,000 he was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. The bike was returned to the retailer. ST26016968
