Impaired and breach of Probation
Police were contacted by complainant for a vehicle pulled over with it in gear and driver asleep at the wheel. The male driver was located and a suspicion of a drug in the body while operating a conveyance was established. A SFST demand was then read. The driver preformed poorly and was arrested. Drug Recognition Evaluation was completed and the driver was charged with 1 x Impaired Operation by drug, 1 x Careless Driving, and 3 x Breach of POA Probation Order. Assault cause bodily harm
Police attended Ross Street after a complainant called advising a male ran in bleeding from his face and said he was attacked and being chased. Police located the victim who had a laceration, bruising a swelling on the left side of his face. The victim advised he had just been attacked by a individual at Jonas Park . The victim was taken to hospital with a fracture to his left cheek bone. A male has been identified and is to be charge with one count of assault with a weapon causing bodily harm and one count of fail to comply with probation order. Warrant to be sought. ST26011549
