Media Release Sunday July 16, 2023

Theft:

On July 15, 2023 the victim advised that he had misplaced his wallet outside a Talbot street business after he had arrived home.  The victim then observed transactions made prior to cancelling on the debit card.  If you have located a wallet you can attend the station for its safe return at 45 Caso Crossing.  ST23012570

Mischief:

On July 15, 2023 the victim contacted 911 reporting that several unknown individuals were striking the back window of his parked car causing damage to the vehicle.  On arrival police located the victim and his vehicle in the area of St. Catherine and Kains Street.  The vehicles rear window had been smashed and the victim was missing his wallet. If anyone was in the area or observed the individuals who caused the damage you are requested to contact police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers.  ST23012578

Impaired Operation:

In the early morning hours of July 16, 2023 a concerned citizen observed a vehicle swerving as it drove on Sunset Drive. Police attended the area and located the vehicle.  Police spoke with the lone occupant in the vehicle and detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.  An approved screening device demand was made and the driver failed the road side screening device.  The driver was brought back to the station where he blew 3 times the legal limit.  The driver was charged with one count of operation of a conveyance with excess blood alcohol.  The driver was released with a future court date.  ST23012596
