Arson Investigation
St. Thomas police are looking to identify the individual in the photos below in relation to an ongoing arson investigation. On Saturday March 1st 2025, police were called to an address on St. Catharine Street for an active fire. Upon arrival, St. Thomas Fire were working to extinguish the fire and assist the occupants to safety. Through investigation STPS and STFD deemed the fire to be suspicious and it is being investigated as arson. Warrant Arrests
A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday March 2nd 2025, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25003377
A 72 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday March 2nd 2025, STPS were notified by Oxford OPP that they had the individual in custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant for Assault with a Weapon and Failure to Comply with Release Order in relation to an incident in the city, last week. Oxford OPP processed the individual who was later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25003383
A 59 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday March 2nd 2025, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service dating back to June of 2024. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25003428
A 33 year old London resident has been arrested. On Sunday March 2nd 2025, STPS were notified by London Police that they had the individual in custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 in relation to an incident in November of 2024. LPS processed the individual who was later released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25003457
Theft
St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of a stolen security camera. On Sunday March 2nd, 2025 police were called to an address on the west side of the city to investigate the report of an unknown individual attending a property and removing a newly installed security camera. This remains under investigating. ST25003401
Intimate Partner Violence
A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after police were called to a disturbance in the city on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 1:15 p.m. officers attended an address on the southside of the city to investigate the report of an argument between two individuals. Upon arrival, police learned a verbal dispute between partners had escalated resulting in a physical assault and damaged to an area of the residence. The 42 year old was arrested and charged with one count of Assault and Mischief and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24003420
Threats
A 22 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after police were called to an address on Talbot Street, Sunday night. Upon arrival officers learned the individual had threaten another tenant of the address after a verbal altercation between the two had occurred. As a result, the 22 year old was charged with one count of Utter Threats and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25003442
