Arrested – Weapon  

On Saturday March 18th 2023, Officers on community patrol located a male that they recognized as being wanted. A first instance warrant had been issued from an incident that occurred earlier this month where he was identified as the suspect in a incident at a downtown business. The warrant was confirmed and he was taken into custody without incident. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of a BB Gun. As a result, 47 year old David Parsons is charged with Carry Concealed Weapon, Assault and Assault with a Weapon. Parsons was later released with a future court date. ST23003337/ST23004310

No attempt to pay – Gas

On Saturday March 18th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to investigate the theft of gas from gas station on Sunset Drive. At approximately 8:15 AM an individual driving a Honda Odyssey, license plate CPPF 373 pumped $93.00 of gas into their vehicle and left making no attempt to pay. Police are continuing to investigate and review video surveillance. ST23004317

Arson

On Sunday March 19th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called by the St. Thomas Fire Department to investigate an active fire that they believe to have been set intentionally. Upon arrival and through investigation, Police formed grounds to charge a 45 year old St. Thomas female with Arson. There were no injuries to report. The female was arrested, processed and released with a future court date.  ST23004356

Warrant

On Sunday March 19th 2023, a 21 year old St. Thomas male with an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his release condition turned himself in to Police Headquarters. The male was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23004380

Vehicle Entry

On Sunday March 19, 2023 St. Thomas Police were contacted by a local resident who wished to report his vehicle had been entered. The incident occurred sometime over night on Friday March 17, 2023 in the area of Naama Street. The vehicle had been rummaged through with nothing reported stolen. STPS would like to remind residents to lock their vehicles overnight and not leave any valuable belongings inside. ST23004381
