Stunt Driving 

A 19 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged for stunt driving after an incident on Friday January 26th 2024. At approximately 7:20 p.m. Friday evening, officers on community patrol observed the driver travelling in excess of 50kph of the posted speed limit within in the city. The 19 year old driver was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt, their licensed seized for 30 days and their vehicle impounded for 14 days. ST24001245

Mischief

Approximately $500 in damage caused to a downtown establishment is being investigated by police. On Sunday January 28th 2024, officers were called to the address to investigate the report of a large hole in the wall, caused by a patron kicking it. CCTV was reviewed and the person responsible identified. This remains under investigation. ST24001307

Warrant arrest

A 45 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday January 28th 2024, while on an unrelated call for service, officers became aware of an outstanding warrant from Brantford Police Service. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed on their outstanding charge and released by Brantford Police. ST24001310
