A 28 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation. Charged with Assault, Sexual Assault and Sexual Assault with a Weapon, the accused was arrested this morning. Transported to police headquarters for processing, he has been held to attend court. ST26010831

A 20 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday evening while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for arrest. The 20 year old had been charged with Assault following an incident in May. The individual was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26010861
A 37 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 37 year old had been charged with Arson stemming from an incident in March. Once processed, he was released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST26010864/04779
Theft
A 28 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street on Thursday. Upon arrival, officers were made aware that an individual had failed to pay for a 6-pack of beer. The 28 year old was located on the property with the beer. Charged with Theft under $5,000 he was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26010838
Disturbance Leads to Charges
A 29 year old St. Thomas man has been charged under the Liquor License Control Act after officers were called to a disturbance on Elm Street last night. Upon arrival, officers learned the accused had engaged in an argument with fellow patrons at a business. The individual was issued a ticket for public intoxication and trespassed from the area.
