Good Samaritan – Bicycle Found

On Thursday February 23rd 2023, a good Samaritan turned in a bicycle found in front of a Talbot Street business. The bike (pictured) is described as a red daser, triumph bicycle with a Schwinn airsoft seat.  ST23002960

Arrested in Barrie

On Thursday February 23rd 2023, St. Thomas Police were contacted by the Barrie Police Service in regard to a 31 year old St. Thomas woman they had in their custody on the strength of our warrant. The woman was processed without incident and released with an appearance notice. ST23002894

Failure to Comply 

On Thursday February 23rd 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to a local retail store after the report of a person known to be trespassed from the address had been seen by a store employee. A 31 year old St. Thomas man was arrested and charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with his release order. He was transported to the Colin McGregor Building where he was later released. Shoplifting

On Thursday February 23rd 2023,  Officers on community patrol attended a retail store downtown in response to a related theft. Investigation revealed an unknown male entered the store, concealed a bottle of liquor in his coat and fled without making an attempt to purchase. Upon arrival, STPS were unable to locate the suspect. He is described as a younger male, wearing a white and black jacket, black hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes. St. Thomas Police are reviewing video surveillance. ST23002934

Mischief – Attempted Theft

On Thursday February 23rd 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to a business in the north end of the City after an employee’s truck had been damaged in what appears to be an attempted theft. The truck’s rear window had been broken and the ignition had been tampered with. The investigation is ongoing. ST23002941
