Mischief

Intimate Partner Violence
On Friday evening, a youth was assaulted by their ex-partner and another unknown youth at a public event in the city. The known suspect and unknown youth accomplice struck the victim no less than 15 times causing minor injuries. Police are continuing the investigation to identify the second assailant and a warrant has been requested for the identified youth. ST24021309
On Saturday evening a 26-year-old London man got into a dispute with his girlfriend at a residence in the city. During the dispute, the suspect smashed the victim’s cellphone and knocked their head against a door. When police arrived, the suspect had already left. Members of the London Police Service attended the suspect’s residence where he was arrested without incident. The male was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where he was processed and later released on an Undertaking with condition. ST24021332
Warrant
A 41-year-old St. Thomas female has been arrested on the strength of a bench warrant, after she failed to attend court to answer to charges of Uttering Threats and Unlawful Use of Credit Card in relation to two separate incidents. The female was arrested without incident and later released on an Appearance Notice. ST24021318
Assault
A 62-year-old St. Thomas female was arrested at the Santa Claus Parade last night. The female got into a dispute with a fellow parade-goer who allegedly obstructed her family’s view of the parade. The suspect struck the victim in the face knocking them to the ground. Police were called and the suspect was arrested without incident. She was transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date. ST24021331
