Vehicle Entry

Sometime overnight on July 7th, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle parked in a driveway in the south end of the City. The rear window of the vehicle had been left open. The suspect rummaged through the vehicle and stole vehicle documents and loose change. ^12111

Warrant Arrest

On Saturday morning members of the Toronto Police Service arrested a 22 year old male wanted on a warrant held by the STPS. The warrant was executed and the accused was released in Toronto with a future court date. ^12113

Possession of Stolen Property

On the evening of Saturday July 8th police responded to reports of a vehicle being broken into it while parked at a local restaurant. An unknown person smashed a window to the vehicle and stole a cellphone and other miscellaneous items. The ‘Find my phone’ feature was activated and the victim advised police of the phone’s current location. Police attended the area and located a 27 year old St Thomas man who admitted to being in possession of the phone. Additional investigation revealed the male was breaching his curfew condition on two separate release orders. The male was arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building to be held for morning court. He is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Release Order x 2. ^12144

Theft

Shortly after 11pm on Saturday July 8th, an unknown female suspect stole two lanterns from the front porch of a north end St Thomas residence. The incident was captured on video and is being investigated.
