Vehicle Entry

An unlocked vehicle was entered overnight on Thursday December 14th in the north end of the City. The vehicle was parked in the owner’s driveway. Taken was a wallet containing ID and credit/ debit cards that have since been cancelled. The STPS reminds you to lock your vehicle each and every time you park it and to bring all valuables inside. Theft

Sometime over the past several days, an unknown person stole three large solar lights from a City owned property in the south end. The solar lights are approximately 1ft x 2ft in size and were affixed to a large post. Warrant Arrests

On Friday December 15th, members of the Halton Regional Police Service arrested a 64 year old St. Thomas man on the strength of an STPS held warrant. The man was wanted for failing to attend court to answer to the charge of Robbery. STPS attended HRPS and continued the arrest of the accused. He was transported back to St. Thomas for court. On Friday morning a 31 year old St. Thomas resident turned herself in on her first instance warrant held by the STPS. The female is charged with Identity Theft and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime in relation to a lengthy fraud investigation by the Criminal Investigations Branch. The female was processed in cells and later released with a future court date. ST23022018.

Public Intoxication

A 20 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for public intoxication last night after police received calls regarding a male laying in the street and screaming. Upon police arrival, it was evident that male was intoxicated by alcohol and had no means to care for himself. The male was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was lodged in cells until sober. ST23022062
