Intimate Partner Violence Arrest

St. Thomas Police arrest a 27-year-old St. Thomas resident, after an ex-partner reports history of Intimate Partner Violence. The individual was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Spousal Assault, 1 count of Sexual Assault, 2 counts of Domestic Mischief, 2 counts of Uttering Threats, and 1 count of Assault with a Weapon. The individual was processed at Police Headquarters and held for a court appearance. ST24016474, ST24017368.

Warrant Arrests

St. Thomas Police arrest a 30-year-old St. Thomas resident after being observed on video with a stolen e-bike. The individual was arrested on the strength of a warrant stemming from an incident reported in June of this year. The individual was arrested, transported to Police Headquarters to be processed, and released with a future court date. ST24010351, ST24017356.

St. Thomas Police arrest a 19-year-old St. Thomas resident on the strength of two outstanding warrants. The individual was identified as responsible for two separate incidents involving theft. One from June, when the accused was observed on camera stealing a pair of shoes, and another in July when the accused was observed stealing a bike. The individual attended the Police Headquarters to turn themselves in, was processed and released with a future court date. ST24017381, ST24010772, ST24012293.

Theft

St. Thomas Police are investigating a bicycle theft from a south side residence. It was reported by a neighbor that captured the incident on their doorbell camera. The individual was observed taking the bicycle from the driveway located nearby, and leaving north towards downtown. The incident is still under investigation. ST24017406.

R.I.D.E

St. Thomas Police conduct a R.I.D.E program in the city’s south end. Approximately 40 cars stopped and drivers checked for sobriety. ST24017414.
