St. Thomas, ON (January 12th, 2024)
Throughout the months of November and December 2023 as a part of the Festive RIDE Campaign, Members of the St. Thomas Police Service conducted 23 RIDE checks throughout the city with 1, 572 vehicles stopped and drivers spoken to.
STPS is happy to share that no major infractions were found. The RIDE checks resulted in:
5 – Standard field sobriety tests
3 – Highway Traffic Act tickets
2 – Highway Traffic Act warnings
3 – Approved Screening Device requests, all registering a pass
3 – Provincial Offence Notices, served
