Fail to Remain
St. Thomas Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Ron McNeil line, just west of Highbury Ave. The complainant reported being rear ended. A witness was able to provide a license plate of the vehicle at fault, before it left the area. The incident is still under investigation. ST26009777

The individual was located while St. Thomas Police Service’s Community Response Unit was on general patrol in the downtown area. Stolen Vehicle Recovered
Stratford Police Service located a reported stolen vehicle from St. Thomas, abandoned in a rural area, missing both front tires. The complainant was provided an update, including the location of the vehicle. ST26009759
Thefts
A downtown retailer reported an attempt theft. An individual attended the store, was selecting and concealing merchandise. When the staff confronted the shoplifter, the merchandise was dropped, and they left the store. Police were called in attempts of identifying the individual. A local gas station reported a gas drive off. Police were able to view video of the vehicle and driver, who pumped 65.01$ in gas, and left without paying. A license plate was obtained. The incident is still under investigation. ST26009824
R.I.D.E
St. Thomas Police conducted a sobriety spot check in the city’s west end. 12 vehicles were stopped, and 5 drivers were administered the approved screening device. There were no infractions. ST26009849
