Bail Violations, Criminal Harassment, Warrants, & Thefts

Bail Violations

Recovery Science, a GPS monitoring company phoned St. Thomas Police to report that a 41-year-old St. Thomas resident had entered a restricted area. Additionally, the battery was critically low. Several attempts were made to locate the individual, with negative results. On October 1st, 2026 Recovery Science phoned to report that the same individual’s battery had died. Officers were able to locate and arrest the individual for failing to comply with a release order. ST26019170

Criminal Harassment

A 31-year-old St. Thomas resident is currently wanted for Criminal Harassment. Unwanted and harassing communication began in April of this year. In May, the individual was cautioned for criminal harassment, and told to cease all communication efforts. On September 28th, 2026, the complainant was downtown St. Thomas, when the accused crossed the street to have a verbal altercation with the complainant. As a result, the accused is charged and currently wanted. ST26019184

Warrant Arrests

A 28-year-old resident of Rodney, was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Constables at the Elgin County Courthouse. Additional charges stemmed from an investigation into an Assault, in September of 2025. The individual was processed and held for a court appearance. ST26019187, ST25017322

A 48-year-old resident of London, was arrested on an outstanding warrant by Constables at the Elgin County Courthouse. The additional charges stemmed from an investigation into Bail Violations, in September of 2026. The individual was processed and held for a court appearance. ST26019189, ST26018465

Thefts

St. Thomas Police were called to a retail complex, on the east side of the city for a theft. Suspects had left the store with a cart full of merchandise, failing to pay. Loss prevention officer was able to provide police with a description of the suspects, and that they were loading a vehicle with the stolen product. Police arrived on scene, located the vehicle and suspects. As a result of the investigation, a 51-year-old, and a 49-year-old, both from Chatham, were arrested. Both were transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and released on conditions, with a future court date. ST26019202

St. Thomas Police were called to a residential area, in the west end of the city for a theft. The complainant reports that while taking a nap, their bag was stolen. The incident is still under investigation. ST26019222

A 48-year-old St. Thomas resident has been identified as the suspect in multiple thefts from an east end retailer. The individual was trespassed from the store, while officers investigate the other reported thefts. ST26019225, ST26019146
