Warrant Arrests
St. Thomas Police, while dealing with an unrelated incident, were made aware of an outstanding warrant for the involved individual. As a result, a 21-year-old Stratford resident was arrested and transported to Stratford Police custody. ST26019402
A 46-year-old London resident attended the station to turn themselves in on an outstanding charge of Uttering Threats. The complainant had reported that an ex was threatening to kill their new partner. The individual was processed at Police Headquarters, and held for a court appearance. ST26019363
Arrest in Break and Enter Investigation
On October 4th, around 8:15 am, St. Thomas Police were called to a residence just North of downtown for a break and enter. The complainant reported a male was inside a home, that was sold, but currently vacant. Upon arrival, Police located and arrested a 40-year-old St. Thomas resident, who was found inside the home. A search of the individual revealed stolen property. As a result, the individual was charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Property obtained by crime, and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. ST26019408
Thefts
St. Thomas Police were called to a downtown retail store for a theft. A female described as having red hair, concealed product, and left the store without paying. The incident is still under investigation, while video is being reviewed. ST26019410
St. Thomas Police were on an unrelated call, when an individual reported their phone stolen. The complainant also stated the phone had been pawned, and then repurchased. The incident is still under investigation. ST26019422
An east end retail complex phoned police to report a theft. A female had left the store with a cart containing $500-$1000 worth of merchandise, and made no attempts to pay. Loss Prevention provided a description, and that the individual was now loading the stolen merchandise into a navy van. Police quickly located the vehicle and arrested the suspect. The 36-year-old was charged accordingly and released with a future court date. ST26019437
