Retail Thefts
On September 25, 2026, police received several online reports from businesses in the city:
- Downtown retail store reporting the theft of product that occurred on 23Sep26. Under investigation. ST26018693
- Grocery store reporting the theft of a small amount of product. Under investigation. ST26018694
- Grocery store reporting the theft of a large amount of product. Video of suspects available. Under investigation. ST26018703
Police are also currently investigating the theft of several items from a retail store after a female suspect left without paying for the product. The theft occurred on September 25, 2026. ST26018762.
Mischief/Theft
On September 25, 2026, police received a report of damage to a new business in the city where property was also stolen. Under investigation. ST26018736
Vehicle Entries/Theft
Police are investigating numerous vehicle entries that occurred in the north and south end of the city over the past few days. Sexual Assault/Indecent Act
In the evening of September 25, 2026, police were called to a downtown residential building regarding a male who had sexually assaulted a female and exposed himself to another. The male suspect is currently wanted on reasonable grounds for Sexual Assault and Indecent Act. ST26018769/ST26018781
Bail Violations
A 31 year old St Thomas male was arrested on reasonable grounds for breaching his release order. The male was transported to the police station and held for bail court. ST26018777
