Mischief – Weapons
A 22 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested following the report of disturbance at Talbot Street parking lot. Early Friday morning, police were called to the 300 block of Talbot Street to investigate the report of an assault. Through investigation officers learned a victim had been pepper-sprayed during an argument with an individual known to them. A second victim reported having the tires of their vehicle slashed by the same individual. Charged with Disobeying an Order of the Court, Assault with a Weapon and Mischief, the 22 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. Robbery
A 20 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested following an incident at convenience store, Thursday evening. Police were called to attend the address after an employee reported being assaulted by the accused who had been trespassed from the store and was refusing to pay for his items. The 20 year old had left the area prior to police arrival. Charged with one count of Robbery, he was located and arrested this morning. Once processed, he appeared before the courts and was remanded into custody. ST26018674/
Sexual Assault
A 19 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation. On Thursday, the accused was arrested and transported to police headquarters. Charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference on a person under the age of 16, the individual was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26018622/8699
Break and Enter
St. Thomas police are investigating the report of $3,000 of copper pipes stolen from an address under construction in a west end neighbourhood. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime after September 21st. This remains under investigation. ST26018634
Warrant Arrest
A 48 year old London man has been arrested. Charged with three counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order and two counts of Criminal Harassment stemming from an intimate partner violence investigation, the accused was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters to be processed and attend court where he was remanded into custody. Indecent Act
A 38 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday, officers were called to an address downtown for the report of an unknown male, urinating in public and exposing himself to people in the area. Officers located the 38 year old who was arrested and charged with one count of an Indecent Act. Once processed, he was released on an appearance notice. ST26018644
Theft
A 38 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street for a theft that had just occurred on Thursday. A description of the accused was provided to officers who located the 38 year old a short distance away with the stolen times. Through investigation, officers learned the accused had attended a second store in the area, stealing a lockbox. Charged with two counts of Theft under $5,000 he was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST26018618/8621
In a separate incident, a 38 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after being identified in a shoplifting incident on Thursday afternoon. Officers attended a retail store on Talbot Street for the report of the accused failing to pay for his items. Charged with Theft under $5,000 he was released on an appearance notice with a future date to attend court. ST26018646
