Police received another report of a vehicle entry and theft in the south end of the city during the early hours of September 18th. Approximately $100 worth of property was stolen. Incident # ST26018098
Shoplift x 3

Escape Lawful Custody – ECC
On Friday afternoon, a 36‑year‑old female attempted to flee from the courthouse while in custody and before the courts. Court officers quickly regained control, and she was safely escorted from the courtroom to a holding cell. She remains in custody and will be charged with Escape Lawful Custody. Incident # ST26018149
Utter Threats
On Friday night, police responded to a family dispute in the south end of the city. Investigation determined a 55‑year‑old male had threatened to kill his surety/ family member. The male was arrested for Uttering Threats and later transported to hospital for medical reasons. A warrant is being sought to charge him with Uttering Threats to Cause Death. Incident # ST26018161
Impaired
On Friday, police were contacted by a concerned citizen reporting a possible impaired driver after a vehicle left the roadway and struck a parking sign. Officers located the vehicle nearby and spoke with the 31‑year‑old female driver, who exhibited signs of impairment by alcohol. She was arrested and transported to the police station, where she provided breath samples registering more than twice the legal limit. The vehicle was impounded for 7 days, her driver’s license was suspended, and she was charged with Impaired Operation and Impaired Operation – 80 Plus. She was released with a future court date.
