STPS Response – Naloxone Use
On Thursday September 17th, STPS responded to two separate incidents involving an individual experiencing a suspected drug overdose. Naloxone was administered on both occasions and emergency medical services were contacted. The individual regained consciousness and was assessed medically. ST26018027/18085
Arson / Mischief
A 48 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested and charged with Arson and Mischief.
On Thursday, police responded to a fire behind a building in the 400 block of Talbot Street. A piece of cardboard had been deliberately set on fire, causing damage to the exterior of the building. The St. Thomas Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire.
The individual responsible was located on scene and taken into custody. Once processed at police headquarters, he was released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26018037
Warrant Arrests
A 63 year old St. Thomas resident charged with one count of Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm has been arrested. On Thursday, the individual was located and transported to police headquarters. Once processed, the accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26018024/ ST26017912
A 23 year old Windsor man has been arrested. The individual, charged with several intimate partner violence offences stemming from an incident in 2024 was arrested Thursday evening. The accused was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26018055/ST24020737
A 36 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Thursday while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for her arrest stemming from a shoplifting incident earlier this week. Charged with Theft under $5,000 she was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend morning court. ST26018066/17470
