Theft/ Stolen Vehicle
On Saturday afternoon, a downtown business called to report that (2) male suspects attended the store, concealing items and departing, making no attempts to pay for any items. Store Staff was able to observe a licence plate on the vehicle the suspects had entered, and through further investigation it was learned that the vehicle was stolen out of London area on September 9th, 2026. Fail to Comply
On Saturday afternoon, Police were contacted by a GPS monitoring company indicating that a 31-year-old male was currently in breach of his Conditional Sentence Order. Police attended the residence of the male and he was placed under arrest without incident. The male was brought back to St Thomas Police HQ and was held for court. Incident ST26017639
Vehicle Entry
On Saturday morning, caller reported their vehicle was entered and personal documents were stolen, including banking cards and Cash. This occurrence is under investigation. Incident ST26017614
Break and Enter
On Saturday afternoon, caller reports observing an unknown female leaving the basement of a downtown Residence. The property was under construction and after examination it was determined that there was damage done to copper fittings in excess of $250. This occurrence is under investigation. Intimate Partner Violence
On Saturday evening, a Female had attended St. Thomas Police HQ to report that she was in fear for her and her family’s safety, from her ex-partner. It was reported that the ex-partner had previously assaulted the Female and threatened her as well as damage to their residence. Attempts were made to locate the male Suspect with negative results at this time. The male is to be charged with Uttering Threats, Assault Causing Bodily Harm- Choking and, Fail to comply with Adult Probation Order (3) counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order. On Saturday evening, A 29-year-old Male attended St Thomas Police HQ and turned himself in on Reasonable Grounds for his arrest for Theft Under $5000. The Male was released on an Undertaking. Incident ST26017658
