Single Vehicle Collision results in charges
A 22yr old St. Thomas man has been charged with several offences following a single vehicle motor vehicle collision. Officers were called to an address on Fairview Ave, were it was reported that vehicle had been involved in a collision and then fled. Officers were able to track the male driver to his residence where an Approved Screening Device was given. The driver ‘alerted’ resulting in a 7 day license suspension. The driver also faces a number of Highway Traffic Act offences. ST26016716
Naloxone Administered
Members of the St. Thomas Police Service Community Response Unit were conducting regular patrols yesterday, when they located a male in distress. The male was located during the CRU’s regular patrols and found to be unconscious but barely breathing. After administering 4 doses of naloxone the male was revived and taken to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. ST26016728
Numerous vehicle entered overnight
A number of residents in the areas south of Center Street in the city fell victim to their vehicles being entered overnight. In all cases the vehicles had been left unlocked and rummaged through. Residents reported the theft of wallets, cash, credit cards, debit cards, vehicle ownerships and insurance slips. Intimate Partner Violence Uttering Threats
A dispute between a couple that had recently broken up has resulted in criminal charges of Uttering Threats to cause damage to property. An argument between the former couple over money being owed escalated yesterday resulting in criminal charges being laid, after one of the individuals allegedly threatened to damage a vehicle involved. A 65yr old London man is facing charges. ST26016761
