Mischief:
While patrolling the down town core, police located an individual ripping out and destroying the flowers in a city planter box. The 50-year-old male was arrest and charged with one count of Mischief under $5000. He was released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date. (ST26013658)

Fraud:
A 47-year-old St. Thomas resident has fallen victim to an Apple gift card scam, and has suffered a financial loss of $900. Police have obtained all available information and continue to investigate. (ST26013678)
Theft:
Police were called to a down town business regarding a theft. Upon reviewing video evidence, police and complainant were able to identify the suspect. The 35-year-old suspect was located a short distance away, and was arrested. The stolen items were located and returned, and the suspect was released on an undertaking. (ST26013682)
Police responded to a vehicle entry at the rear of an east side restaurant. The victim’s wallet was stolen, which contained their ID and bank cards. The victim was able to cancel all cards prior to their use and is not suffer any further financial loss. Police are reviewing all available video in an attempt to identify the suspect and continue to investigate. (ST26013716)
Police responded to a theft of a bicycle from the rear of the YMCA. A blue, youth sized, BMX bike was stolen from the rear bike rack. Police are reviewing available video surveillance and continue to investigate. (ST26013689)
Assault:
An employee of an east side financial institution was assaulted by a customer. The customer was known to the bank, and was located by police. The 35-year-old male was arrested for assault, and transport to police headquarters. They were later released on an undertaking (ST26013687)
Warrant arrest:
A 54-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested on the strength of reasonable grounds for three counts of assault, assault cause bodily harm- choking and dangerous operation. They were transported to police headquarters and later released on an undertaking. (ST26013622)
