Police attended a west side residence regarding an overnight theft. The complainant reported their green youth sized Nakamura Mountain bike was stolen from the side of their residence. Police are canvassing the area for video and continue to investigate (ST26013611)
Intimate partner violence:
Police investigated reports of intimate partner violence that occurred over a period of 4 years. As a result of the investigation, police have formed grounds to charge a 54-year-old male with three counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm and dangerous operation. A warrant has been requested for his arrest. (ST26013622)
Warrant Arrest:
A 47-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrest on the strength of an outstanding warrant and was released on an appearance notice. (ST26013628)
R.I.D.E Program:
On Friday night police conducted a RIDE program in the city. Over 400 drivers were checked, 10 Approved Screening Devices were administered and we are pleased to announce that no alcohol related infractions or impaired drivers were observed.
