Warrant Arrests

St. Thomas Police while on general patrol, located a 30-year-old St. Thomas resident that had an outstanding warrant for Failing to Comply with Probation. The individual was arrested, transported to a cell, and held for a court appearance. ST26009612

St. Thomas Police while on general patrol, located a 41-year-old St. Thomas resident that had multiple outstanding warrants. The individual was arrested, transported to a cell, and held for a court appearance. ST22001165, RM22000075, RM22000278, ST22008877, ST22009874, ST26009614

St. Thomas Police assisted Huron OPP, by locating and arresting a 53-year-old St. Thomas resident that was wanted on outstanding Intimate Partner Violence Charges. The individual was transferred to OPP custody without issue. ST26009659

Animal Cruelty and Obstruct

St. Thomas Police respond to reports of an individual assaulting a dog on the city’s south side. Multiple witnesses were able to provide information to police regarding the incident. Upon arrival, Officer’s located and arrested a 40-year-old St. Thomas resident. An assisting agency, Animal Welfare Services, attended and took the dog immediately to a veterinarian for an assessment. Police also obtained information regarding a similar incident, and charged the individual with 2 counts of Cruelty to animals-unnecessary pain, suffering or injury, and 1 count of Obstruct Peace Officer. Fraud

A local pharmacy contacted police after receiving a fraudulent prescription. The name of a 26-year-old Ilderton resident was on the script. The incident is still under investigation while video is being reviewed. ST26009636

Arrest in Mischief investigation

A 43-year-old St. Thomas resident attended the station to turn themselves in relation to a Mischief investigation. The incident was reported earlier in the week, regarding damage to a vehicle while parked at a local establishment. The individual was processed and released with a future court date. Assault

St. Thomas Police attended Elgin General Hospital for an individual screaming. Upon arrival, hospital security informed police that the individual had been discharged and was refusing to leave. When security walked the individual off the property, they were assaulted. As a result, a 17-year-old London resident was charged, arrested, transported to Police headquarters for processing, and later released with a future court date. ST26009674
