Fail to Comply
Information was provided to Police that a 38-year-old St. Thomas resident was currently breaching the conditions of their Release Order by Failing to Report to the John Howard Society. The matter was investigated and as a result an arrest warrant is being obtained for one count of Fail to Comply with Release Order. ST26007318
Police were called to a retail establishment in the downtown core regarding an unwanted female party trying door handles on vehicles in the parking lot. The female was gone upon Police arrival. Video was reviewed which identified a 29-year-old St. Thomas resident known to Police. During the investigation, Police learned that the resident was bound by Probation conditions not to attend the retail establishment. The St. Thomas resident was located and arrested, charged with one count of Fail to Comply with Probation Order and released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date. ST26007330
Warrant Arrest
During an unrelated call for service, Police came into contact with a 42-year-old St. Thomas resident who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Criminal Harassment. The St. Thomas resident was arrested and transported to the St. Thomas Police Service where they were fingerprinted and released on an Undertaking. ST26007342
Fail to Stop
While on general patrol, Police attempted to stop a vehicle for an MTO flag of unconfirmed insurance status. The vehicle failed to stop and continued west bound on Talbot Street towards Wellington Road. Police did not pursue the vehicle. The matter is currently under investigation. ST26007343
