Intimate Partner Violence 

A 38 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday, officers were called to an address on the southside of the city to investigate the report of the accused assaulting their spouse. Through investigation officers learned a verbal argument between the couple had escalated resulting in the accused physically assaulting the victim. Charged with one count of Assault, he was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26004849

Warrant Arrest

A 49 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident from October 2025. Once processed, he was released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26004846

Theft 

St. Thomas police are investigating the report of a vehicle entry on Donker Drive. Reported stolen was a wallet containing personal identification and bank cards. Approximately $300 in purchases were made before the victim was able to lock the cards. This remains under investigation. ST26004841

$50 of groceries have been reported stolen from a grocery store on the west side of the city. On Sunday, officers were called to the store after an employee reported an unknown male had failed to pay for his items. Video is available and has been provided to police. ST26004850

Two St. Thomas men have been arrested following a shoplifting incident on Sunday. Just after 2:30 p.m. officers were called to a retail store on Talbot Street after the two failed to pay for a case of energy drinks and a case of coolers, leaving the area on foot. Police located the individuals a short distance away. Charged with Theft under $5,000,  a 38 year old St. Thomas man and a 39 year old St. Thomas man were both arrested and transported to police headquarters.  Once processed, the 39 year old was released on an undertaking with a future court date. The 38 year old was held to attend court for an unrelated warrant. ST26004857

$220 of merchandise has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Sunday, officers were called to the store after an unknown woman had failed to pay for several items. CCTV capturing the incident and the party involved has been provided to police. ST26004861

St. Thomas police are investigating a theft from a downtown convenience store. On Sunday evening, officers were called to the store after an unknown male had failed to pay for his items. Video is available and has been provided to police. ST26004867

Mischief – Looking to Identify 

St. Thomas police are seeking assistance in identifying the individuals in the photos below. On Friday, police were called to investigate damaged caused to an exterior air conditioning unit in the 700 block of Talbot Street. It was reported that the individuals in the photos had damaged the unit by removing the copper wiring.
