Thefts
A vehicle was entered while parked at a residence in the south end of the City. On March 14th, police were called to investigate the report of a locked vehicle being entered and tools being stolen. Minor damage was caused to the vehicle by the suspects gaining entry. CCTV has been provided to police and the incident remains under investigation. ST26004364
At 41 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Saturday afternoon, police responded to a retail store on Talbot Street after a report of a theft. The female allegedly left the store with over $150 of grocery items she didn’t pay for and was on a condition not to attend the retail store. The accused was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and failure to comply with Probation. She was processed at the police station and later released on an Undertaking with conditions and a future court date. ST26004380
Counterfeit Money
STPS have received another bill, believed to be counterfeit. On Saturday evening, the bill was turned over by a retail employee after a female suspect attempted to pay for merchandise with it. CCTV has been provided to police and the incident remains under investigation. ST26004384
Assaults
A 40 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after assaulting a male. Early Sunday morning, the two were involved in a dispute involving property which led to the accused striking the victim in the face. The victim sustained injuries. As a result, the accused was taken into custody and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. The male was later released from custody on an Undertaking with conditions and a future court date. ST26004401
Early Sunday morning, St. Thomas Police were called to a downtown establishment after a physical dispute between several patrons. A group of males fled the area however were located a short distance away. Upon police arrival there was a second disturbance involving the group of males. As a result of the investigation, an 18 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for assault and brought to the police station for processing. He was later released, compelling him to a diversion program. A 40 year old St. Thomas man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm from the second dispute. He was brought to the police station for processing and later released on an Undertaking with conditions and a future court date. ST26004405/4407
Uttering Threats
A 19 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested following a threats investigation. Early Sunday morning, police learned that the male had threatened the family of a man he had been in a dispute with earlier. As a result, the 19 year old has been arrested and charged with uttering threats. He was later released on an Undertaking with conditions and a future court date. ST26004411
Liquor Licence and Control Act
A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday March 15th 2026, officers were called to a south end residence after the male, who was unknown to the resident was on the front porch. Upon arrival, the male was found to be intoxicated. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were issued a Provincial Offence Notice for public intoxication and held in cells until sober. ST26004410
