Sexual Assault Investigation

A 65 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation. On Thursday evening, officers located the accused at his residence and took him into custody. Charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation, Luring a Person under 18 and Communicating for Sexual Purposes – under 18, the individual was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held to attend court. Warrant Arrests

A 34 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service after being charged with four counts of Theft under $5,000, stemming from separate shoplifting incidents. The accused was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26003783/2776

A 54 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for three counts of Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation Order after he was charged following a shoplifting investigation from December. The accused was processed and released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST26003787/25022160

A 69 year old St. Thomas man charged with Failure to Comply with Probation has been arrested. On Thursday while at an unrelated call for service, officers located the accused who had been charged after he failed to attend his court ordered probation program. The accused was processed and released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST26003809

Recovered Stolen Vehicle 

A blue Dodge Ram pickup truck, reported stolen out of London in 2022 has been located in St. Thomas. Last night, officers on community patrol located the vehicle abandoned in a west-end parking lot. LPS was notified of the recovery and the truck was towed. ST26003799

Theft 

A black scooter with orange handles has been reported stolen from the Library. Video is available and being provided to police. ST26003770

Vehicle Entry 

Ear buds have been reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Pearl Street. The entry occurred some time after the vehicle was parked, Wednesday evening. No damage was reported by the owner. ST26003776
