Intimate Partner Violence
A 47 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday, officers were called to an address on the northside of the city for the report of an unwanted person. Through investigation it was learned the accused had attended his former address to collect some belongings when an argument occurred with their ex-partner. The victim reported being assaulted. The 47 year old, who had left prior to police arrival was charged with one count of Assault and Unlawfully in a Dwelling. This morning, the accused attended police headquarters to turn himself in. Break and EnterĀ
St. Thomas police are investigating a break and enter that occurred at an east end business. On Sunday night, we were called to Talbot Street address after the business owner reported an unknown person entering a storage shed on the property. The suspect ran from the area and was last seen west bound on Talbot Street in an older model red SUV. This remains under investigation. ST26003124

A 23 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday evening, officers on community patrol located the accused who had been charged with Harassment and Assault after separate incidents were reported to police last week. A 36 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. Early this morning, officers located the accused who had been charged with Theft under $5,000 stemming from an incident in September. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26003130/ST25016265
Theft
A case of beer has been reported stolen from a convenience store on Talbot Street. At 4:30 this morning, officers were called to the address to investigate the report of an unknown male, failing to pay for the product. The suspect is described as being 6ft 5in tall and dressed in all black clothing, last seen leaving the area on a black bike with white handle bars. Video of the incident is being provided to police. A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible for stealing a bike from a downtown restaurant on Sunday. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST26003115
