Warrant Arrests
A 17 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday morning while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for arrest. The accused had been charged with Sexual Assault following an investigation earlier this month. The 17 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26002315/1735
A 50 year old Sarnia woman has been arrested. On Tuesday, we were notified by the London Police Service that they had the individual in custody on the strength our outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 dating back to 2022 and two counts of Failure to Comply with Undertaking after she had attended a retail store on Talbot Street in August of 2025. The accused was on release conditions to not attend several locations including the Talbot Street address. Custody was transferred and the 50 year old was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where she was processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST26002338/ST22017454/ST25015651
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
A vehicle stolen from an address on the northside of the city has been recovered. On Tuesday, the vehicle was located by members of the London Police Service who contacted us with its location and the report of it being significantly damaged. Officers contacted the registered owner of the vehicle who was unaware it had been stolen. The theft is believed to have occurred Monday night. CCTV in the area is being reviewed as this remains under investigation. ST26002329
Intimate Partner Violence
A 40 year old St. Thomas man has been charged after an assault was reported to police. On Tuesday, the victim contacted police to report an incident that had occurred between them and their former partner. It was reported that the victim had been physically assaulted by the accused and had property including their wallet, stolen. Through investigation, grounds were formed to charge the 40 year old with one count of Assault and one count of Theft under $5,000. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST26002367
Theft Investigations
Four firearms have been reported stolen from a residential address in St. Thomas. On Tuesday it was reported that, while packing in preparation to move, the owner observed their firearms cabinet unlocked and the firearms that were contained within it missing. All information and documentation for the items have been provided to police. This remains under investigation. ST26002339
Two wallets containing $1,000 and several piece of identification have been reported stolen from a vehicle on the northside of the city. On Tuesday, it was reported the vehicle had been entered at some point in the overnight hours. No damage to the vehicle was reported. ST26002359
A bottle of liquor, valued at $70 has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday evening while reviewing instore surveillance, staff reported the theft occurred earlier in the afternoon. The video has been provided to police. ST26002350
Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested after being identified as the parties responsible in a theft investigation from January. On Tuesday evening, officers on community patrol located a 28 year old St. Thomas man and 29 year old St. Thomas woman who had both been charged with Theft under $5,000. The individuals were processed and later released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST26002362
