Theft Investigation – Stolen Vehicle, RecoveredÂ
While investigating the report of a theft that had occurred at a grocery store on Talbot Street on Monday afternoon, officers learned the vehicle the suspect had left the area in had been reported stolen. Through investigation, police learned the vehicle had been stolen from an address on Avon Road and additionally involved in a fail to stop incident with the London Police Service. This morning, STPS was contacted by LPS who reported locating the vehicle in their jurisdiction. The owner was contacted. This, and the theft remains under investigation. ST26001414/1418/1438

A $70 bottle of liquor has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Monday, police were contacted in regards to the theft that occurred on January 24th. It was reported that an unknown male had entered the store, selected the bottle and failed to pay. Video of the incident has been provided to police as this remains under investigation. ST26001403
Warrant Arrest
A 61 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Monday officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 in relation to a theft investigation from October.
