Theft
$200,000 of industrial equipment has been reported stolen from an eastside address currently under construction. On Thursday, a contractor currently working on site contacted police to report that GPS units had been stolen from bulldozers at some point in the overnight hours. Through investigation officers learned:
- 3 – Topcon GPS screens from three John Deere bulldozers, each valued at approximately $40,000 had been stolen
- 1 – Topcon FS5000 screen, GR5 rover and base station valued at approximately $50,000 had been stolen

Break and Enter
A property on Scott Street currently under construction has been reported damaged. On Thursday evening officers were called to the address to investigate the report of the water and gas lines being cut and a several tools being stolen. Gas was found to be leaking inside the property as a result of the damage. Enbridge attended the address to safely shut service to the address off. The area was cleared with no injury or further damage reported. This remains under investigation. ST26001170
Intimate Partner Violence
A 52 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to investigate the report of an assault that had occurred. On Thursday morning, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call from the victim who had been assaulted by their partner in a vehicle while parked at an address on Elm Street. Officers attended the known address of the parties involved and spoke with the accused and victim. Through investigation, officers learned the 52 year old had struck the victim while arguing. As a result, he was charged with one count of Assault and transported to police headquarters. Further investigation revealed additional incidents of physical violence and assault that had occurred since December. The 52 year old was additionally charged with seven counts of Assault. He was processed at police headquarters and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26001159
Warrant Arrests
A 44 year old wanted on several outstanding Highway Traffic Act offences dating back to 2020 has been arrested. On Thursday, Peel Regional Police had the individual in custody on the strength of our outstanding warrants. All documentation was sent to Peel who facilitated a court appearance for the 44 year old, who was later release by the courts on an appearance notice. ST26001171/ST20000383
A 33 year old St. Thomas woman, charged with Theft under $5,000 in relation to a shoplifting incident in December has been arrested. Early this morning, the London Police Service contacted STPS to report they had the individual in their custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant. She was processed and released with a future court date in St. Thomas. ST26001188
Bail Violations
A 33 year old St. Thomas man has been charged after unwanted communication was reported to police. The accused is currently to be abiding by several release conditions, including not communicating with certain individuals. Charged with one count of Failure to Comply with Release Conditions, a warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST26001155
Harassment
A 43 year old London woman has been arrested. Charged with one count of Harassing Communication stemming from an incident last week, the accused was taken into custody by the London Police Service, Thursday afternoon. She was processed at LPS and released on an undertaking with a future date to attend court in St. Thomas. ST26001153
