Intimate Partner Violence
A 31 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a southside apartment to investigate the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located the parties involved. Through investigation officers learned an altercation between the couple had turned physical. The accused was charged with one count of Assault and transported to police headquarters. A 39 year old West Elgin man has been arrested. On Monday, while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter at the Elgin County Courthouse, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for arrest issued following a family court matter. The 39 year old was processed and remanded into custody. ST26000980
A 54 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Monday evening, while on an unrelated call for service officers located the individual known to them to be wanted by for Failure to Comply with Probation after being charged in November 2025. The 54 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST26001008

Damage to a vehicle parked at an address on Wabun Street has been reported to police. On Monday, the vehicle owner contacted police to report several punctures to the tires of their vehicle. No other damage was reported. This remains under investigation. ST26000979
