St. Thomas, ON – Friday January 16th 2026
On January 15th 2025, just before 11:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Talbot Street and East Street.
While speaking to the individuals in the vehicle, the officer identified the passenger as a 45-year-old St. Thomas man known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant held by the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police.
The 45-year-old was arrested and the OPP were notified.
A search conducted incident to arrest resulted in the seizure of Canadian currency and a quantity of suspected controlled substances. As a result the driver, a 64-year-old St. Thomas man was also arrested.
A full search of the vehicle resulted in the following items being seized:
• 25.5 grams of crack cocaine
• 115.9 grams of fentanyl
• Two cellular phones
• $960

The estimated street value exceeds $31,000.
As a result of the investigation, both individuals have been charged with the following offences and held for court.
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – crack cocaine
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – fentanyl
