A 48 year old St. Thomas woman has been charged following an investigation that began early Tuesday morning. The accused has been identified as the second party involved in an incident that occurred at an address on Chestnut Street. She has been charged with Assault, Break and Enter and two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order. A warrant for her arrest has been requested. ST26000264/0377
A 41 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday, while assisting the OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad (ROPE) the individual was taken into custody. Charged with three counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order, two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order, Break and Enter and Theft under $5,000, the accused was transported to police headquarters where he was processed to attend court and subsequently remanded into custody. A 33 year old St. Thomas man charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order has been arrested. On Thursday, the individual was located and taken into custody. A 35 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Thursday while on an unrelated call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 stemming from a shoplifting incident in December. He was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST26000379
Theft
St. Thomas police are investigating the report of a theft that occurred at a Talbot Street retail store on Thursday. It was reported that an unknown male had concealed several items and left the store, failing to pay. Video of the incident is being provided to police. ST26000412
A 38 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident last night. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST26000414
