$100 of groceries have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Friday, St. Thomas Police were contacted to investigate the report of an unknown person, failing to pay for the items. Video of the incident has been provided to police.

On Friday morning police were called to a cannabis store after a male left the store without paying for approximately $500 of merchandise. Police reviewed video and identified the male. He was located nearby and arrested. A search of the individual, revealed stolen property from another retail store and controlled substances. The male was transported to Police Headquarters where he was held for court. As a result of the investigation the male is charged with 2 counts of theft under $5000, 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of over 30 grams of dried cannabis.

A security camera was reported stolen from a north end business on Friday afternoon. Police were called to investigate after a male known to the victim stole the property. The individual was located by police and arrested. A search of the male after his arrest, revealed he was in possession of a flick knife which is a prohibited weapon. The male was charged with theft under $5000 and possession of a prohibited device. He was released with a future court.

Break and Enter
A 29 year old St. Thomas man has been charged following a break and enter to a south end residence. On Friday evening police were contacted after neighbours observed the male on a nearby property. Police attended and quickly arrested the male. As a result of the investigation he has been charged with break and enter and 4 counts of failure to comply with Probation.
