Intimate Partner Violence

A 54 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after officers responded to a disturbance, early this morning. Just before 3 a.m. police were called to an address on the southside of the city to investigate the report of a argument in progress. Upon arrival, officers located one of the parties who explained a verbal dispute with the accused had occurred. Through investigation, it was learned the man is currently on release conditions to not communicate with the victim or attend the address of the call. He was located a short time later, arrested and transported to police headquarters charged with three counts of Failure to Co1mply with Release Order and held for a morning court appearance. A 42 year old St. Thomas man has been charged following an incident reported to police on Tuesday evening. Through investigation, officers have charged the accused with one count of Uttering Threats to Cause Death and one count of Assault. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST25021144

A 33 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after officers found him to be with an individual he his currently on release conditions to not communicate with. The conditions are in place following intimate partner violence charges, prohibiting the accused from being near or communicating with the named party. The man has been charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order and two counts Failure to Comply with Probation Order. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25021151

Warrant Arrests

A 39 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday, while dealing with him on an unrelated matter, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for Assault stemming from an incident in April. The accused was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25021123/ST25005338

A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding probation warrant. He was processed and released with a date to attend court. ST25021125

A 29 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday evening, the individual attended police headquarters to collect his property from an incident over the weekend. The man had since been charged with three counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order. He was arrested, processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25021132

Theft Investigations

A total of five shoplifting incidents from the same retail location on Talbot Street have been reported to police. On Tuesday, officers were contacted to attend the store to investigate the incidents that occurred over the weekend. In store surveillance captured each incident and video has been provided to police. Reported stolen is several bottles of whiskey, champagne and scotch. This remains under investigation. Fraud

A local resident is out close to $10,000 after learning of unauthorized transfers from their line of credit. On Tuesday, the victim attended police headquarters to report that two transfers had been made from their line of credit to two credit cards. When speaking with their financial institute, the victim learned an unknown person had called the bank after being locked out of the account. The suspect provided the security answers for the account and gained accessed to the funds. A recording of the phone call is available and being provided to police. This remains under investigation. Stolen Bike

A bright green, decorative bike with a basket on the front has been reported stolen from a business in the 500 block of Talbot Street. On Tuesday, the owner of the business called to report that the store front bike had been stolen. CCTV in the area is being reviewed as police continue to investigate. ST25021113
