Break and Enter, Mischief – Stolen Property Recovered
Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested after officers attended a break and enter in progress, Sunday afternoon. Just after 1:30 p.m. CCTV cameras at a west end park alerted officers to the incident. Upon arrival, police located two individuals who had gained entry to a building in the park. Through investigation, officers found the pair to be in possession of a wagon, reported stolen from an address on Alexandria Street last week.
As a result, a 40 year old St. Thomas man and 38 year old St. Thomas woman were charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The 40 year old man was additionally charged with one count of Mischief, after CCTV captured him causing damage to one of the cameras in the area.
Both were transported to police headquarters, processed and released with a future court date. ST25019242
Mischief – Breach of ProbationÂ
A 37 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday evening, officers were again alerted by CCTV cameras at a west end park. Video captured three men attempting to gain entry to a building in the park. Video additionally captured the accused cause damage to one of the cameras. The individual was identified as a 37 year old St. Thomas man who was later located and charged with one count of Mischief and one count of Failure to Comply with Probation Order. He was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25019254

An 18 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after we were called to investigate a shoplifting incident. On Sunday evening, officers were called to a retail store on Talbot Street for the report of an unknown man failing to pay for his items, leaving the area on scooter. The accused was located a short distance away with the items reported stolen. As a result, he was charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 transported to police headquarters to be processed and later released on an undertaking with future court date. ST25019252
