Warrant Arrests Leads to Additional Charges
A 50 year old St. Thomas resident, wanted on an outstanding warrant after being charged with Break and Enter, has been arrested. Thursday evening, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted in relation to an investigation from August. The 50 year old was transported to police headquarters to be processed. A search incident to arrest found the individual to be in possession of suspected Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Oxycocet pills, glass pipes, lighters and various clear baggies along with a digital scale and cash.
The accused was additionally charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – Opioid (other than heroin)
The 50 year old was processed on all charges and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25019056/10957/15320
Break and Enter InvestigationsĀ
St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of a commercial break and enter. On Thursday afternoon, police were called to Athletic Park after staff reported a building in the park had been entered and pipes had been removed. Damage is estimated at $1,000. Video surveillance from the park is being reviewed as this remains under investigation. ST25019023
St. Thomas police are currently investigating a residential break and enter. On Thursday, a local resident called to report their residence had been entered and their tools, valued at over $500 had been stolen. This remains under investigation. ST25019031
Theft
Various grocery items have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. The theft is reported to have occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. Police are reviewing available video. ST25019004
A ‘Creative Outdoor Stroller Wagon’ has been reported stolen from an address on Alexandria Street. The wagon is valued at approximately $370 and was stolen between October 13th-16th. A stock image of the wagon is below. At the time of the theft, the owner reported the canopy was not attached. ST25019008
