Warrant arrest:
On Friday morning officers on general patrol observed a male in the downtown core that they knew to be wanted on a recent warrant for theft under $5000.00. The 38-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the station and later released with conditions. Incident ST25018069.
Break and Enter:
We were called to a downtown business regarding a tool shed that had been broken into. Sometime over the past two weeks unknown persons forced entry to the shed and a variety of lawncare tools and property was taken. Officers are canvassing for video in the area and the matter is under investigation. Arrest in theft investigation:
On Friday evening two local females turned themselves in at the front counter of the station related to an ongoing shoplifting incident that had been reported earlier in the week (ST25017856). The 54-year-old female and a 30-year-old female co-accused were arrested and later released on conditions. Incident ST25018116
Shoplifting:
On Friday evening we were called to a downtown convenience store regarding a male youth that had stolen alcoholic beverages. Video was reviewed and the 15-year-old youth was located a short time later and arrested. The male was charged with theft under $5000 and later released to the care of his parents. Harassment:
On Friday evening we were called to a south end residence by a family who reported being repeatedly contacted by a female known to them, despite numerous requests to stop. Officers contacted the female and warned her to cease all communication with the complainants – and the female then began to message again with high frequency. At this time a warrant is being sought for a 42-year-old London woman – charged criminal harassment. Incident ST25018138.
