Break and Enter InvestigationsĀ 

St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of a residential break and enter. On Tuesday, we attended an address on St. Catharine Street after the homeowner returned home to find the back door open. Reported stolen is a quantity of cash and a bicycle. This remains under investigation. ST25017863

An apartment at an address on Wawa Street has been reported entered. On Tuesday, we were called to the address after the tenant returned home to find their apartment had been entered and several items had been stolen. Upon arrival, officers cleared the apartment and found significant damage to an interior wall. This remains under investigation. ST25017870

Intimate Partner Violence

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after police were called to a disturbance on Wellington Street, Tuesday evening. Through investigation officers learned a verbal argument between spouses had turned physical. The accused, who had left the area prior to police arrival was located a short distance away and taken into custody. The individual was charged with two counts of Assault and transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25017884

Vehicle EntriesĀ 

Several DeWalt power tools, a tool box and hand tools have been reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Inkerman Street. On Tuesday, the owner of the vehicle called police to report the theft that occurred in the overnight hours. ST25017832

A Mastercraft solar panel, a tablet and several tools have been reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Flora Street. On Tuesday, police received an online report of the theft that occurred in the overnight hours. ST25017850

A boat propeller and various tools have been reported stolen after two vehicles parked on Edward Street were entered. On Tuesday, the owner of the vehicles contacted police to report the theft that occurred in the overnight hours of Sunday September 28th. ST25017866

A VEVOR Intelligence battery charger has been reported stolen from a boat at an address on Centre Street. On Tuesday, officers attended the address to investigate the theft that occurred on between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. No damage to the boat was reported. ST25017860

Several tools and car parts have been reported stolen after a vehicle was recovered. On Tuesday, police were called to an address on Alma Street to investigate the report of a stolen vehicle. Through investigation, officers located the vehicle on a neighbouring street. The owner was contacted to retrieve their vehicle and reported the items were missing. ST25017827

Theft

Several items of merchandise have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of two unknown individuals attending the rear loading area and stealing the merchandise. CCTV of the individuals is available and being provided to police. ST25017853

$200 of groceries have been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to the store after two unknown individuals had left the store without paying for their items. Video capturing the individuals and the vehicle they left the area in is being provided to police. ST25017856

A purse has been reported stolen from an address on East Street. On Tuesday, police were called to investigate the theft after the victim noticed the purse was gone and a total $400 of unauthorized transactions had been made with the cards in the purse. This remains under investigation. ST25017874
